[SOLVED] Why is a Vega 64 mem clock so low?

So I know that the Vega 64 is last gen tech, but I have one and when I was messing around on pc pcartpicker, I found this gpu. It has GDDR5 that apparently runs at 5400mhz while the Vega 64's supposedly much faster HBM2 memory is only clocked at 945 mhz. Anyone have any idea of why this may be?

because GDDR and HBM work differently, HBM is much higher bandwidth per clock so doesn't need/can't do as high a clock speed, but can still deliver better bandwidth overall.

Don't compare specs between generations/brand, only compare performance.

Can you explain how clocks work a little to me? I kind of have a bit of an idea of how they do, but I could use some clarification.
