Video of the issue
To keep this brief - I've been struggling to fix this issue for years and still cannot figure out why Windows messes up my Bluetooth signal. When I switch to Linux my signal problems are gone.
I've tried switching from Windows 10 to 11
Tried uninstalling/ reinstalling drivers
Reinstalled windows numerous times
Disabled firewall
Tested different Bluetooth dongles
Tested different Controllers - Xbox one, Ps4, Switch Pro Controller, Series X / All dealt with limited range and latency drops - Using ds4 windows for a ps4 controller I can see what is going on.
Cleared usb ports that weren't in use
Switched Bluetooth adapter to different usb ports
troubleshoot windows bluetooth
Had Microsoft technical support take control over my device only to try the same fixes I did
There has to be some explanation to what is happening to my machine. I literally have to be next to my computer in order for my controller to stay connected.
Like I mentioned using Linux my problems were gone, my latency and range were drastically improved, but I need to use Windows. Can someone please try to figure this out for me?
