Why is it asking for a password after i hit f2

my computer is asking for a password when i hit f2 why and how can i get the password

Your BIOS is password protected... someone put a password on your BIOS so you cannot access it unless you have the Password. Toms rule states that we cannot help you acquire/reset any BIOS passwords. Sorry.
