Question Why is my AM4 Motherboard not compatible with known AMD CL18 Corsair Vengeance RAM?

Hi everyone.

Current components:
MAG B550 TOMAHAWK (MS-7C91) (AM4)
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor
Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB 4x4GB 3200MHz CL-3200 CL15 - ( CMK16GX4M4B3200C16)

Recently bought components:
Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 RAM 32GB (4x16GB) 3600MHz CL18 AMD Ryzen iCUE Compatible Computer Memory - Black (CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18)

Fitted the newly acquired RAM, no boot. RAM seated in correct position and tried booting with only one set of two sticks. The motherboard had a recent BIOS update aswell. Am i missing something? The MAG B550 TOMAHAWK should be compatible suggested by previous buyers.

For what its worth i could purchase another board, just stuck for answers. Each set of two RAM sticks were tested and nothing...

Any professional input would be greatly appreciated, many thanks!

Honestly, that would be a question for MSI as to why that particular set of modules isn't compatible.

It could be age, processor type, expandability, company rights, etc.

did you reset cmos before putting the new ram in one stick at the time if yes try this ram in another system and if it work contact both seller board and ram one .
