Why is my computer getting slower, crashing frequently, and why does my internet take 10 minutes to start working.

Over the past few months i have noticed that my computer has been gradually getting slower and i have no clue how to stop it. Recently a lot of programs on my computer have been crashing non-stop including the computer itself but that because of an unstable OC im working on.
-Minecraft
-Planeside 2
-Windows explorer.exe(windows 7 toolbar)
-Google Chrome
these are the top crashers and I cant find the reason why... maybe its just a big coincidence? Its also not limited to these programs, a lot other have been but I cant name them off the top of my head.

Also, my internet will not work on boot up and its becoming very frustrating since it takes at least 10 minutes each time for it to actually start working while everything in my household is having no problems what so ever and i have no clue how to fix it.

My specs:
gtx 670ftw
i5-3570k @4.5ghz
Z77 extreme4 AsRock MOBO
1x 8gb corsair vengeance

Enter Task Manager by hitting ctrl-alt-del all together and then > Task Manager, when it opens go into Performance and tell me what your CPU and RAM percentages are.

at idle its 0% - 20% cpu
2.6GB ram
Should i be keeping an eye on this?

On the process tab, click the CPU column header and rank the processes by which is using the most % .... google anything more than 5% and see if it's something you don't want.

Also, IB likes RAM installed in pairs.

All troubleshooting should begin with all BIOS settings at defaults and fresh installation of GFX drivers.

alright ill try to put all my hardware and such to factory settings for a while to see if that fixes anything.

That's weird, and yes, keep an eye on this particularly when you notice major slowdowns. Try to do whatever normally slows down your computer (open your web browser and Windows explorer) and analyze the percentage changes.
