My CPU is heating up and I know of all the methods like applying thermal paste, cpu fan speed, cleaning out the casing dust, reducing work load etc. but my CPU is still quite hot even after turning on the computer on idle for a while. What I need to know is whether or not it could there be a possibility that something is broken inside the CPU itself that is malfunctioning to cause the CPU to heat up more than normal?
CPU: i7-3770k

That I dont know all I know is that it’s hotter than average temps
How do you know the CPU is running hot without knowing the temperature it's running at? Oo

This makes no sense. Get HWInfo and check temps, report them, then we talk again. About that air cooler, take 30 bucks and get an aftermarket cooler. It will work worlds better than that junk.

Cpu temps average around 80+ degrees celsius after playing a quick deathmatch in valorant for like 7mins (something like a full load ?). And when I get into a real match it goes to 90.I got some cooler master cpu cooler, does help slightly I guess
