[SOLVED] Why is my CPU utilization so low while gaming?

Hi,

I recently built a completely new pc and getting some performance issues. My specs are:

CPU: i7-8700k
GPU: Geforce GTX 1080 FTW
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Z370-E
Cooler: NZXT Kraken liquid cooler
PSI:EVGA 650W GQ

When I play games such as Assassin Creed Odyssey and run the benchmark thats within the game it says that my GPU is at 100% while my CPU is between 18-20% with 20-25 fps at medium settings. I know it can do more because there a video of someone with the same cpu and gpu running assassin creed origins at ultra high preset and getting 90 fps no worries. I did a slight overclock on my GPU and went to the max for my cpu of 5GHZ to try to fix it but didnt work it still at the same utilization. Even with games like overwatch I try to run the ultra preset uncap and still get 30 fps. Is there anything Im doing wrong here or something else I can do to improve cpu usage or fps?

It's because your gpu is handling most of the load. It's ok if you had a quad core without HT you'd see a higher number its all good
