Currently...I have a problem with My Dell Optiplex 755. I left the computer on for about 5 hours in an attempt to upload a video. It was on about from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00. I had a problem with my LG monitor and the only way to keep it running is to have the heat all the way on due to some failing components inside the tv. Something having to do with busted capacitors. When I went access my computer both the monitor and pc status lights were orange. I disconnected the display and restarted the computer. Shortly I performed a cold boot and computer powered on still orange status light. It's 10:14 a.m. and I removed the CMOS chip and shorty after I removed the chip...all indicators turned green and it beeped twice and then I powered it off. So I'm wondering if it's the CMOS or maybe bad ram, a faulty PSU or the motherboard. I am going to cycle through each ram module as well. Can anyone directly pinpoint the nature of my problem directly or do you think my computer is just gone?
