I have a 200mpbs WiFi as of now, and when I download something it always displays that the download speed is ranging from 25-33 mpbs, or sometimes even lower. I was wondering why is it like that?
https://prnt.sc/137l9xa - Well this is our speedtest, and im pretty sure the same speed that is appearing on the download speed, but I can be wrong. My guess is the 200 number you referenced it in megaBITs and the tested download speed in megaBYTEs, two different values of mesurement. 1 megaBYTE is equal to 8 megaBITs so if we do a bit of quick math 200 divide by 8 and we get 25 megabytes. So the fact that you get 25-33 is actually better than what your paying for. For future the way to tell the different is megaBYTEs is a capital B and megaBITs and lower case eg. Megabyte = MB Megabit = Mb
So yeah thats in megaBITs so what is the download in? Maybe screenshot that too?https://prnt.sc/137l9xa - Well this is our speedtest, and im pretty sure the same speed that is appearing on the download speed, but I can be wrong.
Same results with Google: https://prnt.sc/137qojfSo yeah thats in megaBITs so what is the download in? Maybe screenshot that too?
Also try a speed test on google instead because it does it in megeBYTEs, just google internet speed test and hit run speed test button at the top
https://prnt.sc/137sbxh Almost the same result with the 2 others. The 2nd link doesn't work for me.Two of the best speed test sites: fast.com and dslreports.com/speedtest
Now show us a screencap of whatever is telling you "25-33 "https://prnt.sc/137sbxh Almost the same result with the 2 others. The 2nd link doesn't work for me.
