Question Why is my google language set to random languages?

This started recently when my google started to show search results in Estonian, since then I have reinstalled windows, and now, it shows the results in Turkish. I have no idea what causes this. I use chrome and the default language is set to English.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? And if so, how can I fix it?

I have encountered this problem when clicking on a link that took me to a google search in a foreign language. It would then set that language as default. This did not occur consistently.

There are two ways to fix it:

If you use Google while logged in to your Google account, then you can change the language settings as instructed in the following link:

If you do not use or have a Google account, then the alternative fix is to clear the associated cookies (or all your cookies).
