[SOLVED] why is my gpu 0 load at 100% but gpu 1 at 0%

i try to play games but it is very laggy. i have a gtx1070. i can see in task manager my GPU 0 is at 100% buy GPU 1 at 1/0%. ive had my pc for a year and i just factory reset it. it has just become a problem now. i used to be able to run games very smoothly

Well first, what cpu do you have?
To check the gpu search for "Device Manager" in your windows search and open it. It'll have a tab called "Display adapters", open it and you'll see the gpu being used.

i have a intel 8700. for display adapter, it says intel(R) UHD graphics 630, and NVIDIA geforce GTX 1070

You'll want to enable the GTX 1070 and disable the UHD graphics 630

@Finstar , whenever i do that, it just changes my settings, anyway to fix that, my screen just goes huge and stuff, also when I fix that, it still says 0% on GPU1...
