I tried to play AC Origins and I noticed a massive drop in fps which I didn't understand. Usually when I play the game is very smooth but the pc gets hot from what I've noticed, and I think that's what caused the problem for my GPU to overheat, the GPU in question is a GTX 1660 6GB. My CPU is i7 4770k and I have 16GB of RAM. I don't know what to do, I opened up the PC and noticed very little dust on the fans of the GPU but that's about it.. I'm afraid I've ruined my GPU for playing 2-3 hours straight of AC Origins.. anyone got any ideas?

Here's a test 4 months ago of my GPU's performance: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27426458

Here's the one I did few minutes ago: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/32738552

Solution
Try using DisplayDriverUninstaller to remove your current GPU Drivers and clean install new ones.
You can check to see if your GPU is thermal throttling, maybe also increase the GPU power limit to make sure you're not Power throttling.
If all else fails do try to re-seat your GPU in the PCIe Slot or try a different slot to see if that changes anything.
