Why is my GPU temperature being displayed as 0 degrees?

Since updating to the most recent AMD drivers, all monitoring software has been displaying the GPU temperature as 0. I rolled back and it still did it. I can't figure out what's going on.

System info:
FX 8320
MSI 970 gaming motherboard
R9 380
16gb ram
700w PSU

1) Reply to OP's original post

As for solving your problem, have you used DDU to remove display drivers and then done a fresh install of the display drivers?

Have you also tried uninstalling Afterburner and fresh installing it?
