I have U-verse internet -- using an Arris NVG599 modem/router -- and have five rooms in my home that are wired with CAT5 cabling that connect to a switch attached to the router. All of this is in the basement of a three-story home, and I use Airport Express -- on the main and top floors -- to extend the wireless signal. (Old house, mix of plaster and drywall walls.)
I turned on the Guest Wi-Fi last week, providing internet only access. I could see and log in to the guest wireless setup in the basement and first floor, but when I went to guest rooms on the second floor, the guest wi-fi network either doesn't show up at all or it shows up and continues to ask for the password.
I have compared the two Airport Express' -- and cannot find if there is a setting on one and not the other. I have to think, at this point, that there must be a signal problem with one of the Express' that is blocking or not connecting to the Guest Wi-Fi network. Any ideas/help/solutions would be much appreciated.
