Hi, I have an NZXT H440 and it seems to be noisy only when the HDD is plugged in. So basically I originally thought the sound was my PSU, RM750 however when I unplugged the HDD I found my PC to be silent. Taking off the side panel and putting my ear next to the back if the PSU, it sound silent, however on the side with the powersupply cover it sounds like a fan, I think my HDD may be causing vibrations and therefore making the power supply cover vibrator and become noisy. It's my first build and I am very new to all this so please don't kill me if everything I've said is wrong. I am just wondering my this noise is occuring.

You try taking out the HDD out of the case and running the system, if it's silent without the HDD then you can do one of 2 things.Or both :D.
Get a rubber sheet like this:

When you have that cut it t the size of your HDD, but don't block the mounting holes. If the HDD touches the sides of the mounting spot, then put in the sides too. If you don't want to do that get an SSD.No moving parts, no noise ;)
