Why is my laptop running all games 10-15fps?

I have a lenovo ideapad 320. It has 4gb DDR4, AMD Radeon 530 and intel pentium N4200 1.1 ghz. I tried running a couple of games like Counter-Strike Global Offensive and Dota2. I read online that the 530 could easily run these games but i barely broke 15fps. And i have already checked that the laptop is not using the integrated graphics for gaming and i have also opted in the Amd settings to get the most power out of the GPU instead of saving batterylife. I also have the laptop plugged into the wall and i am not using any battery saving settings in the games. So could anyone tell me what is wrong?

But i looked at benchmarks and the 530 runs those before mentioned titles easily, so how am i getting such a bad performance?

Good catch. ideapad 320 doesn't come with Radeon 530
a $200 notebook not going to play much of anything

Same GPU the cpu is not specified and i tried running the games at lowest settings, with lowest resolutions possible and got results worse than what they were in medium with better resolutions in the benchmarks.

It's because the Celeron/Pentium version of those CPU's have a very poor iGPU (HD 505), the higher end models such as the i3-7100U (or better) have the Intel HD 620 that at a sub 1080P resolution should play those games at a decent FPS. At 1366x768 the HD 620 handles CSGO easily at medium settings.

I updated the Radeon 530 drivers and now when i try to play Counter-strike the game again uses the integrated intel hd graphics instead of the 530 and my whole computer shuts down randomly when i tried to play. I tried several times and every time the computer would turn off.

It turns out that Lenovo put an actually decent graphics card in a laptop with no graphics card cooling at all. The cpu works fine because the only cooling in the laptop is focused on that. The gpu is not cooled at all.

Download prime95 and run blend on default settings for 15-30mins. Look for cpu core temps with hwmonitor.

Download furmark and run stress test and look for gpu downclocking cause if temperature. If it goes reaalu high like 90 then abort it.

Tell us what temperatures you got with these.
