Why is my monitor EXTREMELY blurry in games / videos / web browsing

For starters I have a 1080p 144hz monitor, the benq xl2720z

I go on games / videos / browsing the web but when scrolling / swivelling the camera, the text or the background of the game is very blurry and looks like ghosting since its a feint image of what is swivelling, lets say its a tree ill turn camera left and right and its very blurry / ghosting

This happens in all games and motion blur in the games are of course turned off, I have tried with 60hz 120hz 144hz, all same result. I really don't know if this is normal and I am losing it or this is a defect. I use a DP cable with it and the lead was brand new so I very doubt something is wrong with it.

The fps I get on games because of my good pc does match up to the 144hz monitor with 144fps so I am not getting low enough to explain it, does anyone know why this is happening and the cause of it as recently I have noticed it a very lot and it makes me feel dizzy and not enjoying gaming at all anymore because of it

Thanks

Solution
First thing to try is resetting the monitor to default. Make sure all blur reduction options are turned off in the monitor options. It sounds counter-intuitive but motion blur reduction features can cause it, most notably lcd overdrive features (I think it is "AMA" on that monitor).
