bought a new gaming PC around november, here are the specs:

GPU: RX 480 4Gb

CPU: Intel i5 6400 2.7gHz

Motherboard: B150M-DS3H DDR4

RAM: HyperX FURY Black Series 8 GB DDR4

PSU: Corsair CX 650M

Hard drive: 1TB Seagate hard drive

i know its not the best pc, but i was running rust very high settings no problem 70 FPS, and now its just been cut in half? same with overwatch. i've scanned my computer for viruses and nothing has come up and im sure it's not overheating. Any advice?

You can try a few things:

- updating your drivers or reversing it
- deleting a newly installed program which is maybe running in the background
- cleaning your pc, if it is a new one this is maybe not very evident but it might be causing something

there are probably some troubleshooting guides online as well, check that out.

Oh and also, this is probably not the cause but you really need an SSD dude, they are not that expensive and it will really improve your experience

Check all of the basics also:
anti virus scan, malwarebytes scan, update windows, defragment hard drive, check smart attributes for trouble (i once had a one year old seagate 1tb go bad on me - no more seagate)
also web search for similar problems realated to your game, video drivers, etc.
