Question Why is my pc slowing down after playing for a few hours?

I have a ryzen 1600x with a gtx 1060. My ram is the 8gb geil evo potenza which runs at 2400mhz. After playing games for a about 3 hours I notice a crap ton of input lag in the games but my fps doesn’t really drop too much unless it’s Black Desert Online then I get stutters. I’m pretty sure it’s not thermal throttling because my gpu temp doesn’t go above 70 and my cpu temp stays at around 60. I think it’s the ram because it does not have very good reviews on newegg but I am not completely sure. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Well, I would start by monitoring hardware performance with MSI Afterburner to get more data concerning the problem you mentioned. It would give an insight where potential and actual problems can be.

What should I be looking out for because I’ve already tried that

The usual things: CPU (all core/threads), GPU and RAM frequencies and usage; CPU and GPU temperature; fps and frame times; and page file.
