[SOLVED] Why is my PC so slow?

So I built my first gaming pc a few months ago and everything seems to run fine on it, but after noticing how fast my friends computers start/ boot up apps make my computer look like its from the 80s. I'm not sure if this is because of windows being download on my HDD instead of my SSD, (which I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case), or if its because of a incompatibility issue with my computer or outdated softwares. I am planning on getting a 2TB SSD around Christmas time so I can ditch the HDD, but i wanted to know what you guys think is causing my computer booting up/ loading everything I open so slow. Thanks

Do you have some hard data here? How are things like FPS? It's hard to say what's going on when you've just told us your subjective feeling about your PC compared to another, mystery PC.

I usually play overwatch and I run my settings on low graphics and usually get 160 FPS consistently. My CPU temp is mostly at 62c when running overwatch, and my network shouldn’t be the issue as I’m usually getting around 30 mbps download speeds

To see HDD and SSD activity, start the Task Manager and take a look. Once you see which is the bottleneck, you can start the Resource Monitor and see which files are the busiest.
