Why is my RAM frequency in BIOS is reported as much higher number than in Corsair LINK?

I'm curious about something. I've set up my RAM for XMP profile in BIOS with the frequency setting of 3200 MHz. Here's the screenshot:

But then when I was playing with the Corsair LINK software in Windows, I noticed that it was reporting the RAM speeds at 1600 MHz:

Is there a reason for this discrepancy?

ddr - double data rate. mean it x2
1600x2 = 3200

Thats normal. Bios reads ram as double data rate (DDR) and diagnostic programs like Corsair Link and Cpuz read ram modules in single data rate.

Data rate and dual channel are different terms.
