Why is not Gigabyte GTX 1070 Xtreme Gaming available anywhere?

I am from India and I see that the card is not available in Amazon US, Amazon India, local websites or anywhere.

What is the reason behind this? Is the card so good that it doesn't remain in stock for long? Or what? Why doesn't Gigabyte supply more of these?

Yeah, it is same as "unavailable" because the price is just nuts. Rs. 44750 ($667). They added $238 for god knows what. I don't think any sane Indian is capable of buying that.

Oh I didn't notice the price hike, yea that's way too much for that card. I would just keep an eye on PCPartpicker India and see when another site gets it back in stock or Amazon brings it back to the correct price. I did find this page which should list all the retailers that should sell that card.

I have already tried to contact the distributor (local) on the map. The phone numbers just don't work. I guess it will take another 1 year for Gigabyte Xtreme to be in stock in India. Waiting is all we Indians could do. :/
