Why is this happening? How can I fix this?
Issue:
  • When I play, screen is pixelating then screen freezes but I can still hear game sounds and all. I have to force quit to exit.
  • It has happened a few times a few months back, then it stopped, now it's happening regularly again.

What I have done so far:
  • Open the case, as it might be overheating (not sure). It's open on both sides now. With a standfan pointing towards it
  • Uninstall / Install the game CSGO (then realized it was also happening in other games PUBG)
  • Uninstall / Install graphics driver

Temp is 40-50 C when not gaming.
Temp goes up to 60C+ then pixelates, then freezes.

Have you OC the cpu ?

Does it help if you reduce fps / screen resolution ?
Nope, didn't touch the CPU. The same settings out of the box.
Also, doesn't help if I reduce the FPS, the other day I saw that it's starting to pixelate a little even without running games.

Since it's still under warranty, I just tried to claim it. Hopefully it's only the GPU's that the problem. I was not able to isolate it (as in try in another PC) but based on symptoms e.g. only screen is freezing while game is still running, I'm 80% sure it's the GPU. Although when I ran Valley benchmark test it was showing power and voltage limit, but then my CPU stats were looking normal (sent it to AMD).

Thank you anyway for the help! Appreciate it.
