Why is that My i3 3210 Processor Showing different cores Clockspeeds in Windows Experience Index.
Something Like core 0 @3.20ghz And core 1 @ 2.10ghz.
For more details like in image below
Is my processor failing or there is a solution to fix it.
This is an Idle/Load example(the cpu is overclocked so the load speed is faster than it should be, but boost also plays a role). Many clock speeds in between can happen as well.
Sorry for the image and thank you for your fast reply.
Its like this in below image
I already checked cpu-z
But the thing iam worried about is that the clockspeed difference in Experiance index (the fist image) it was not like this before its equal in value like
I3 3210 CPU @3.20GHZ 3.20Ghz
but now its like
I3 3210 CPU @3.20GHZ 2.10GHZ
Is it possible to change in value of clockspeed?
Windows showing the wrong speed in system properties is common, you can ignore it. Cpuz will give you the realtime speed so is what you should believe.
If this CPU supports it and its enabled in the BIOS it maybe. Tried what?
sorry i don't know much about pc.
speedstep is about changing the powerplan isn't it?
I changed the powerplan to high perfomance but it didn't work.
No its a CPU feature. If you look in power options / advanced features you'll have processor power management.
Thats what speedstep does if its enabled. If you put both of these on 100% or disable it in the BIOS (the 2 options wont be there if you disable it in the BIOS). You'll notice the speed doesnt change

Is that so. I was worried about the change in clockspeed.
Thank you
I think the 2nd speed might be related to re-running the assessment but am not sure. But I do know windows doesn't detect speed and show it there. I've seen this same issue a lot.
I just tried the XS bench if that is what you are doing. It does not seem to load anything.
You want load, get prime95.

Please note this will make things HOT.
EDIT.
It looks like the XS bench will work when the system is dead idle. when running stuff it did not seem to work at all. Strange thing is it worked after but on the first run my cpu was sticking in the 1.4 range.
I don't know how but my cpu experience index reverted to its actual value
yesterday when i replace my cabinet (cpu case).and my cpu performance also increased.
the current state is
