Question Why isn't my monitor displaying at 165hz like it's supposed to?

i have a 165hz ASUS monitor but in the nvedia control panel it's max is 120hz. My rainbow six seige is also running at max 60hz, i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but maybe it can help, any fixes would be highly appreciated, thanks in advance.

How it's tethered to your display output?
Make and model of your GPU?
Driver version for your GPU?
OS you're on?
