Question Why isn't my my mic working?

I have used my headphones for almost 2 months now on my laptop. When I switched to my PC, my mic doesn't even work anymore (only my laptop works). I have tried to reinstall Realtek HD Audio Manager.


But in sound It just have a checkmark there, but it doesn't work.

Please list the following:
Make and model of headphones.
Type of connector(s)/adapters that came with the headphones.
Type of sound connector on your laptop.
Type of sound connector(s) on your desktop (PC?).

All of the above plus:

Try your headphones on another known working audio device.

Try other known working headphones on your laptop and desktop.

Determine if the problem follows the headphones or stays with the desktop.
