Hi.
First try and hook up an external keyboard and see if it will work and if it does, try these troubleshooting steps that might help.
- Press the Windows key + R then type "osk" in the box then press OK
- Once the onscreen keyboard is open disconnect the external keyboard then try typing using the osk.
- Uninstall/reinstall the keyboard driver from Device Manager
- Once the keyboard driver has been uninstall, reboot the laptop and that should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If it does work still the problem could lie with the actual keyboard and a replacement is needed
- Contact Asus support already and have them replace the keyboard.
