Good day guys, so I bought a HDMI cable on the packaging it says 1.4V 5m . Then I tested it to our TV that has a 40 inch and 1920 x 1080 resolution, I connect my HDMI cable to my computer and the other end on the TV. I press the Windows key+ P, and I select duplicate. and it detect that TV is plugged in but no display on TV . So I tested a 32 inch TV and it worked. I wonder why is my cable doesn't work on our TV. Thanks for help.

where did you get this HDMI cable?
Which brand and model?

update the TV´s firmware

update the computer´s graphics driver

cable might not be connected well into the TV or graphics card, some do not fit well
