[SOLVED] Why my laptop sees three displays (own display+two external monitors) but only two displays are usable at a time?

I can use "laptop+monitor 1", "laptop+monitor 2" and even "monitor 1+monitor 2" combinations. But I cannot extend all three displays at once.

Laptop: old Toshiba Satellite A665-S6080 (Windows 7 Ultimate) with Intel (R) HD graphics. It has two video ports: an RGB (~same as VGA) port and an HDMI port.
Monitor 1: Asus VS278Q (connected via HDMI cable)
Monitor 2: Asus VS278H (connected via VGA cable).

All three are detected both in "Screen Resolution" and "Device Manager".

All drivers (monitors, graphics card, etc) are up to date. Tried scanning for issues, restart, unplug/plug, updating drivers. But nothing seems to work.

Is it because my laptop (graphics card) simply does not support extending three displays at once even though it sees/detects all three?
