If you are in a corporate environment and everything is virtualized, it's possible that disk space assigned to your account is increasing as you use more.

Hi there bilal sheikh,
I would advise you to adjust your System Restore Settings. You just need to reduce the amount of storage used for System Restore.

Exactly how much disk space are you talking about? What do you start with and what do you end up with over what time? As Windows downloads patches it will take up more and more space on the drive as well as the system restore files that the WD rep mentioned. Web browsers also use up temp files, if you have a large number set the free space can go up and down by a few hundred MB just from those files.

It can index your entire C drive, and then you can arrange all your files by date modified. Then you'll know where the space is going.
