Question Why nothing hapens when i update my graphics card ??

When i try to update my graphics card Nvidia geforce gt 610 to 391.... Driver it all seems okay and it tells me everithing installed (driver _ system physx...ets) but when i restart the pc. Its like i have done nothing the pilot that i installed dosent work. But the old version drivers 348... work normal. Why. ?? whats the probleme and solution ?? . Plzz. And thanks

When you downloaded the driver was it the standard version?
