Why some good am3+ mobo doesnt have pcie 3.0?

well msi gaming 970 i thought im gonna buy it but i saw it doesnt have pcie 3.0 why does amd boards doesnt often come with 3.0 some i found is currently higher than my budget

Because there isn't much a performance difference between pcie 2.0 and 3.0 for graphic cards. Plus the chipset 970 and 990FX doesn't support pcie 3.0

Current gen graphics card haven't maxed out PCIe 2.0 bandwidth. So there's little reason to implement PCIe 3.0 especially on budget/low-end chipset.

There are a few high end 990FX boards that do support PCIe 3.0. But it's worthless. There is minimal improvement between 2.0 and 3.0. As Suztera mentioned above, current GPUs aren't even close to maximizing PCIe 3.0 bandwidth so it's a waste of money at this point.
