Witcher 2 with r9 280x is good with vertical sync, because the fps are between 57-63 fps so is good for the monitor(60hz), but r9 280x in crossfire, always try to get 120 fps.
Why this is happening?
Hmmmmm thats odd. Is there a way in msi afterburner or something to set a limit fps? Evga precision x has that option for nvidia cards which is why I ask.

I do not know, this is one good solution , but i have no idea for doing it. I have guru software by gigabyte and amd catalyst 13.11 beta.
Thank you

Um with vsync on in the games options I'd think it would still keep it at 60hz or w/e your display is.
It makes 120 fps with v sync activated with crossfire and 60fps with single gpu mode, like should it be too in crossfire mode
I have the exact same problem with crossfire 7870's, its driving me crazy and I am unable to find a solution.
My monitor is 60hz but vsync in crossfire is stuck at 120Hz in every game, it is 60hz when crossfire is disabled?
Did you find a solution to this?
I am running 13.11 beta 9.5, the problem is there in 9.4 also, I will roll back drivers and report back with my findings.
Update: I rolled back to catalyst 13.10 beta 2 and the problem is gone and I am now locked at 60Hz with crossfire and vsync on, so the problem is with catalyst 13.11 beta 9.4 and 13.11 beta 9.5.
