Why when computer freezes it can't continue working without reset? I'm talking about a complete freeze when PC don't reacts on any actions, not when it BSODs. Why it can't just restore itself (but if GPU can't handle it's clocks it restores automatically sometimes, but not when memory failure), it seems like it can, because fans are continue spinning, power is still drawn, it isn't shutting down, last shown frame is still shows on the monitor and sometimes sound is looping on last played sample. Why it can't work slower until it will get enough power or temperatures will be OK? Is PC freezing affects hardware so it enters into defensive state and don't leaves this state until reset, or it is OS that can't restore itself, while hardware can?

Have u ruled out ur harddrive? Computer lockups without bluescreens quite often are cause by bad sectors on harddrives I would get yourself a cheap working hardrive to check whether the harddrive is the issue
