Why will this overlay not go away ? (ive done everything)

this seems to have happen when I tried out NVidia shadow play. this overlay will not go away and is displayed on some of my games. EX: Ultra street fighter 4, Dying light.

I have even tried uninstalling Geforce experience, did nothing reinstalled drivers did nothing. Nvidia's games from the GeForce experience have this overlay but some games don't like metro last light does not and some others I'm sure.

I never touched Nvidia control panel on the refrshrate to put at 144 hz.

well that at least makes me feel a little better. Where might that button be located I never saw a button to turn off an overlay.

I figured it out it was the CAM update software from NZXT for the Kraken x61 it had an overlay that only displayed in some games. Didn't really expect a cpu temp program to have an overlay.
