Why wireless internet connection on smartphone/tablet is slow

I have bought a new router (tenda W308R). Wireless works great with my laptops but my smartphone and ipad have really slow internet connection speed (0.7Mbits). I have no idea what is the proplem.Pls help.

perhaps there is some problem with the bandwidth of ur router..try connecting only one device at a time to ur router or increase the bandwidth of ur internet connection
