why won't my laptops wifi work windows 7

My laptop won't pick up any wireless networks even in my home and I don't know why , I've tried restoring it to an earlier time still nothing , I've tried resetting it again nothing

If your laptop isn't showing any available networks to connect to (no networks listed), try restarting your wireless router.
When you restore power to the router, give it time to re-sync and show that it's ready to use.

You need to install the driver. Go on your laptops Brand website and you can download the driver under "Support & Drivers". May be listed different but just look for the driver that you need.

Is there physical switch on the laptop to turn the wifi on or off, or perhaps a button on the keyboard
