Hi Guys,
Last month I built my first computer and amazingly, everything went as smooth as possible. I haven't had any crashes / hangs / weirdness, and the computer hums along quietly while I go about my business. My completed build/part list can be seen here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/Hq3bt6
I only recently discovered one issue that is bothering me, and I haven't been an able to correct it. When me computer goes into sleep mode it looses Wi-Fi connectivity when it wakes. It isn't just a matter of Wi-Fi connectivity though, when I log back in the wireless network adapter isn't even detectable.
The only solution I know (so far) is to restart the computer. I've done some research and I've tried what is suggested on this site: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/wifi-gets-disconnected-after-sleep but their recommendations do not solve the problem.
Device manager shows that the drivers are up to date and there doesn't seem to be OEM drivers available through the D-link's website.
Do you guys think it could be the card itself? or is it a matter of the PCI port powering down in sleep/hibernation mode (and not powering up afterwards)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
