Once upon a time, I accidently changed the DNS server address in "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and now my Wi-Fi is on an endless state of Limited. The title above is what the trouble shooter says.

It also says that during the trouble shoot it failed to investigate router or broadband modem issues, if that's important.

Other devices still connect to the wifi fine, and my pc connects to other wifi routers fine. It's just my laptop and this wifi.

Also, I think I changed the DNS to 8.8.8.0 or something. But I changed it back to "Obtain DNS server address automatically" but the problem still stands. I've done all those codes in command prompt (yes, in administrator mode) but none work. I think the fix lies with "Internet Protocol v4".

It's driving me nuts having to use an ethernet cord every time I wish to browse the internet, which is always. HELP.

Omg Microsoft," Result of diagnosis: There may be a problem
NOOOOO I DONT THINK SO.

Update: some pictures of my problem taken with my phone, since no internet

Solution
Hi guys, i had the same problem earlier on and it was soo frustrating!

Anyway i got it fixed (posting here using my revived laptop!) and the following was what worked for me:

Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Allow a program or feature > remove Bonjour > reboot computer and watch the magic unfold.

P.S This was a solution posted by kind humans in another forum but it took me long to find it..Just thought i could share it on this forum as well to hopefully make the search easier for others.

cheers, hope this would solve your problem too! :)

This one worked for me! (I didn't have Bonjour). Thanks heaps for the solution!
