[SOLVED] Wifi and virus issue

I have a old windows 7 laptop. Its infected with a virus... im trying to install a antivirus but if i go on the wifi then my wifi will be at risk of virus... any idea... btw reset is not possible for me.

Use your uninfected hardware and create a USB with the antivirus. Truthfully, NUKING from orbit is the safest thing to do. If you have some files, you want to save, boot a Linux OS and save the files. That should prevent the virus from being able to do anything.

Your "WiFi" can't get a virus.

But, many nasty virus infections prevent installing of a new antivirus application.

Why is a "reset", or preferably a full wipe and reinstall, no an option?
