Most likely your WiFi driver.

Go to Device Manager and try to see if there's a missing driver with a yellow triangle next to it.

You need to install a Windows 7-compatible driver for the WiFi network adapter.

Laptop make/model would be useful to know (I'm just assuming it's a laptop since it's a WiFi problem).
