Wifi connection configuration

HI,

Iam using sumsung Lindy mobile. Iam unable to connect internet through wi-fi. I have a wi-fi router. Can any one help how to connect internet through wi-fi and what are the settings I have to configure in my samsung mobile.

When my Omnia i900 sees available networks, it show them to me in much the same way my laptop does and I can select the one to which I want to connect and I press Next then input the relevant security key, Next again and then Done. Is Wireless turned on? Mine turns Wireless off unless I'm connected or have done so within about a minute and connects via GPRS.
