I got two bungalows right next to each other (detached). I have my main router in the living room in house 1 on the main floor, the router reaches to the basement of house 1 perfectly, and it also reaches to house 2 with fair signal in the main floor, but has weak signal in its basement (1 bar or -75 to -80).

What can I do? I bought a Wi-Fi extender from Linksys re6400, and it made no difference, when I moved it to a room further at the back of the house 1 in the basement, not at the edge of the router but when signals started getting weak it made no difference to the signal.

What should I do? If I want to get the network to be fairly strong in the basement of house 2, but with extenders? (would be preferred) or something other than extenders are glad to be shared.thanks !

I was actually thinking of setting it there but the extention I bought was a bit weak just with travelling from the basement 1 to the back rooms of the main floor in house one.

Sorry but I'll put that idea a side for now. Thanks though but what if I got an access point for out doors and place it in between the two houses. Since my two basements are both above ground by about 2 feet. There are windows facing each other, I was thinking that placing an a access point at that level at the windows. It can reach to the other basement window, because it also, is 2 feet apart from each other.
