is wifi harmful? i have a router which i dont use cz on net many health sites say it causes diseases and is harmful if u have long exposure to it,.. is it true?

"Is WiFi harmful?"

Questions:
1. Do you own or use a cellphone?
2. Have you been in an airplane?
3. Have you ever had an x-ray at the doctors office?
4. Do you ever go outside?

All of those contribute far more to your exposure to electromagnetic radiation that your routers WiFI.

lol. Do you use a cellphone? No better yet have you ever gotten an XRAY, MRI, or CAT scan at the hospital or denist? Because if so you have been exposed to more radiation than wifi could expose you to if you strapped a router to your head for the rest of your life.

nope cz in pc i have a broadband and not mordem.. actually in youtube videos ,, some people bought bought a gieger counter near to router and the counter registered high levels of radiation

Put a Geiger counter near a microwave, florescent light bulb, the power line outside, your car engine, your tv, they all produce a measurable amount of electromagnetic radiation. You cannot escape unless you live off the grid in the woods somewhere. Like I said if you use a cellphone everyday or have had any type of medical scan done at the hospital you have already been exposed to more radiation than wifi could expose you to in your lifetime.

LOL true the sun produces all kinds of radiation. Screw the woods your gonna have to go for a cave but even then you would probably die of a vitamin d deficiency. Here OP i suggest you learn about the radiation the sun produces and what that can do to your body before you worry about wifi: http://www.eoearth.org/view/article/156098/

Since just about every wireless consumer device in the world, from cordless phones to garage door openers to microwave ovens, emits radiation in the 2.4 GHz band, if it was dangerous, we'd have all died of cancer about 20 or 30 years ago. Radio waves are not even remotely the same as, say, neutron radiation or gamma radiation from nuclear reactions.

Short answer is, no, there is no evidence to support the idea that wifi radio waves are harmful in any way. But there is a good chance it will frustrate you to premature baldness. You should see what happened to me after I joined this forum.
