Hello, a fast intro is that in july I will be moving in to my university house with 6 other people. My question is what will get me the fastest speed for uploading videos and playing online games.
depending where my room will be I could be above through one flow, or in the same floor out through 1 wall the stairs and another wall.

As LAN is not an option I will like to get the next best thing.

The router is 100MB/s Virgin Media and it has 2.4G and 5G.

Thanks and feel free to ask anything

WiFi is generally last on the list of connection options. Use only if there is no other choice.

Powerline, however, is very dependent on the house wiring. There is no way to tell how good or bad it might be, until you actually plug it in and try it.
Usually to have a good latency and wifi speed + big coverage area (more than 1 room) you need an expensive router. Routers under 50$ are good if you are maximum in next room but it also depends on how thick your walls are. If you want to have a very good speed though, you would need a more expensive router. 100MB/s is just a marketing thing. You will be lucky if you get near that speed if you touch your router with your device :)

I don't think I will be allowed to change the router, and it does reach a download of 110MB/s but an upload of 5MB/s.
So I am still unsure which to go for.
Thanks for the respons.
