Wifi working fine with VPN on phone but not without it. Please help!

Hi,
I am facing this weird issue from last few weeks, my home wifi is slow on my phone (Moto G 1) but fine on other devices. But when I connect through VPN app, it runs perfectly. Websites never loads completely when I don't use VPN, the blue loading bar of google chrome app never completes, even if I stay on a website for 5 minutes. Whereas speedtest always shows me the right speed.
I've tried everything from resetting the phone to contacting the ISP. Even the ISP couldn't provide me the solution. This VPN thing too was discovered by me, while searching for solutions of this problem.

I guess, the issue is not in the phone because other wifi networks works fine on it. And if it was about the router then it had also affected the other connected devices, but that's not happening. Iphone, Moto G3 and a laptop, everything worked fine on same wifi connection (without VPN).
I just can't use VPN everytime to use my wifi, with no options left I'll have to deactivate my internet subscribtion. 🙁
I hope experts on the forum will help me with this issue.

Have you tried forgetting wifi network and reconnecting it? Were you able to use everything before alright and fine? If yes do you remember what you did when this started happening? Perhaps update or router settings?

yeah! That's the first thing I did on my phone. I have even changed the SSID and password, after resetting the router but all in vain.
I didn't mess up with any settings, everything was working fine.
The only thing changed was the update from Android Webview and Chrome, but I think it shouldn't be an issue, because net is working fine on other wifi networks and cellular data (3G).

From your phone view advance settings and make sure no proxy is activated.

Yes, proxy is set to none and IP settings is set to DHCP.

Yes, same connection works fine on other devices.
Can there be an issue with IP address? I asked my ISP for the solution, and they said everything's fine from their end, they have no such complaints from any other users. They also suggested me to buy static IP, as it was the last thing they could do from their end. But I don't really want to pay for something, I don't need, so I refused that offer.
I am still not sure, if it's the issue with phone or my net, ugh. Phone works fine on other WiFi networks, and my wifi works fine on other devices. 😛

Hi sorry for not replying, I was for some reasons, not able to login lol.
When you are connected to wifi see advance settings for wifi network and make sure IP address assigned to your device is not lan address.
Have you tried different browsers?
And try formatting cache parition and dalvik cache from recovery mode.
