WiFi works but not Ethernet

So I have a Thinkpad T420 and my WiFi works fine and Ethernet works on all other devices but my laptop wont register the ethernet cable. The lights are flashing when the ethernet cable is plugged in but doesnt work. Any ideas?

Nevermind I fixed it. The LAN connections was desabled.
