[SOLVED] wii2vga adapter and then hdmi to vga converter?

alright, so i've been looking to play wii on my lcd monitor for a long time, the thing is, it only has vga input. So i did some research on some local markets and found out, the only way i "could get it to work" is by buying a wii2hdmi adapter (this adapter im 100% sure it will work) and then convert that hdmi output to vga (not sure about this part), i was wondering if it would work?

What I would do is replace that old monitor with VGA only with one that has HDMI input since the cost of a used monitor is not much more than the cost of an HDMI to VGA adapter, and you have a newer better monitor along with that.
