PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
I have a G41M P-26 Motherboard.
Its specifications say that it supports 800/1033/1333 OC* MHz RAM.
Please tell what this OC is and tell me which RAM is compatible with this motherboard.
My full PC specs are-
Pentium Dual Core E5700 @ 3.00 GHz CPU.
G41M P-26 Motherboard.
PSU is Cil ODYSSEY 450 watts
I use the integrated graphics which is G41 express chipset.
I will upgrade to XFX R HD 7770 GHZ edition Soon.
Please also tell me that is 3.0 PCI-e 3.0 cards work with PCI-1.0 slot.
If there will be bottleneck by how much it would be.
Thanks in Advance.
PLEASE REPLY SOON.
Thanks again

ahmedam3 you have posted me the same links for the ram and pci e gen.
However thank you for helping me for ram .
But some people say that cards are backwards compatible with older pci e generations.
please suggest me a good card for 100-120 $ if possible
Thanks again

i a saying that your build could be better for around the same price have a look at this build (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9sQQgs) it has pci-e 3.0 and 2.0 so you can use any graphics card in the future and uses a quad core CPU. you don't have to use the same storage and case that i used in the build. and the pci-e 1.0 on the motherboard you used (g41m p-26) will run the gpu but bottleneck it allot .
btw: reply today because i have school tomorrow.
chose as best answer if it helped you 😀 (i am 14 y/o)

Hey there ahmedam3.
I am sorry to speak to you like that.

I am 14 too . I wrote 17 because i thought you were bigger than me.

I am not building this pc for Hardcore gaming. Just casual gaming after coming from school for just about an hour or two.

But to inform you that PCI e 1.0 will not bottleneck PCI e 3.0 card because it is not a high end card.

It is only when you run a high end graphics card it will bottle neck.

Hd 7770 on PCI e 3.0 will give no difference in performance because it is a mid range card.

Also there will be no FPS increase in most games .

If there will be, only about 1 or 2 % decrease compared to PCI e 3.0 Mother board.

Thanks ahmedam3 for you answer.

But tell in detail what this OC is in the mobo.

sorry!!!! again

could you post the price of your components so i can see? and i am not talking about heavy gaming i am saying you are wasting money on old/overpriced parts plus i THINK the 7770 (http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1875909/pcie-graphics-card-work-pcie-motherboard.html) uses some special electrical interfaces that only the pci-e 2.0/3.0 have. you could just use a pci-e 2.0 mobo (did you check the build i linked ?) and there is a newer version of the card you want to use (Radeon R7 250X) it sells for around 100 (http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Computer-R7-250X-2GD5/dp/B00N802O58/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1422877902&sr=1-2&keywords=r7+250x) and fyi no card can fully utilize pci-e 3.0 speed so any pci-e 2.0+ mobo will do
