Will 1600ghz ram work on my motherboard?

Hi, I have an asus m4a88td-v evousb3 motherboard and I bought a 4gb ddr3 1600ghz ram from hyperx. My question is, will it work on my motherboard? Is it compatible?

Yes it is, Kingston has great compatibility record on AMD platform.

well 1600 GHz will not work. they don't exist yet.....
but 1600 MHz will.
